More information about my therapy background:

I began work as a professional complementary therapist back in 1996 during my travels, taking my first major step in learning Reiki after an absailing accident, which, with the assistance of complementary therapies and basic first aid, healed in just 4 days!

I was grateful to be able to continue work part time in complementary therapies, in conjunction with my studies in Engineering at Cardiff University, hiring a room within the city, and carrying out mobile treatments to individuals from a wide background.

My desire to complete my degree studies, completing a number of further professional development skills in therapies and other areas. To then on graduation to move on to work full time for a number of professions in sales, computing and recruitment consultancy, has proved excellent grounding to the running of my rapidly expanding nationwide business.

It wasn't long before I realised the national development opportunities, which is when the Therapy Agency™ was developed to be able to provide assistance for a wider audience.

I consider that my 'scientific' background has proved particularly useful in the field of complementary therapies, keeping my mind cautious of any new technique, and logical in my process to look from outside a problem, to seek out the real cause and the most simple cost effective remedy.

My family background has also offered me a natural affinity to work with my hands, picking up many of these techniques readily and naturally.

Over the last 7 years, I loose track of how many hours I've put into further training, with the basic costs easily in excess of £5,000. I know that if I'd put this time into computer training, my bank manager would be much happier with me right now, but thankfully I really feel I've now found my vocation, and often finding myself attending shows and charity events, carrying out therapies for 8-10 hours straight with negligible breaks. My longest single treatment with one client exceeding five and a half hours!
