In depth Usui learning also covering additional skills in protection, self-healing & relaxation, building a professional space, listening & communication, and continued development of yourself and others. Self Hypnosis training is also provided freely to all participants.

Courses are arranged on demand, with further course arranged throughout the year. Jason has had more than 7 years professional experience in practicing Reiki worldwide. He is a trained teacher qualified to City & Guilds further education standards, highly enthusiastic, passionate about Reiki, and focused on continuing development.

As one of the fastest growing therapies in the UK at the moment, Reiki is a very simple, highly effective treatment that can be learnt by anyone, regardless of background, belief, or age.

My Background:

I began my Reiki training back in March 1996 after an abseiling accident which fractured my foot, after attending an introduction talk that evening, receiving a little hands on Reiki there and then, to be followed with the Reiki 1 training that weekend, my foot surprised everyone by healing completely in just 4 days!
I trained in my level II attunement later that same year, forming a similarly enlightening experience based at the mountains in New Zealand's South Island, with a truly inspiring Teacher.

After practicing this technique at level 2 for some time throughout my backpacking travels and university study in Mechanical Engineering, I decided to follow towards the more traditional training process, and began training alongside a total of 7 Reiki Master/Teachers, gaining further subtle attunements by all along the way, attending large numbers of Reiki evenings, Reiki sharing, training courses, and practicing Reiki on individuals in a whole variety of locations, with individuals from virtually all backgrounds, researching and developing my own techniques and knowledge, before I felt in a position to fully commit to training others as a Reiki III teacher.

You may recognise that I don't call myself a 'Master/Teacher' even though I am trained, attuned and experienced to this 'level'. My reasons are that I believe Reiki to be a very natural process, without involving ego or particular 'skill' as such (I've found the greatest skill is to allow the energy to flow naturally, without attempting to refocus or direct it specifically, this allows the experience to be much greater for all concerned). Energy as a whole has so many different levels and vibrations, I believe that one can never really be a true 'master' of the energy, and although I have a learnt a great deal, the more I learn and understand, the more I recognise how much more there is to learn and understand about all energy techniques!

I'm grateful that my degree in mechanical engineering and foundation of science and logic has allowed me to describe many of the processes of Reiki effectively to most audiences, keeping the training structured and clear, but also understood on the many different levels of the intellect, emotion, physical body, and spirituality (a truly holistic treatment and training)

Whilst my own profound development and growth has helped me hugely to recognise the many aspects to Reiki, and those who have helped me along the journey have also helped me appreciate the important intuitive processes to any treatment which are developed during the training process.

Completing Anatomy and Physiology qualifications whilst training in a variety of other complementary therapy techniques, my teacher training to the City & Guilds standards allows me to also run classes at established further education institutions and colleges, and gives you a recognised qualification suitable to gain membership of large numbers of Guilds, Federations and other bodies nationally and internationally. Personally it also helps me to be a better teacher, understanding the needs of those learning a new skill from a professional background, understanding and appreciating the different learning styles and processes, forming each class uniquely for each of those present.

Prices:

In developing these prices I have hoped to choose a level which are respectful of the original ethics of Reiki, whilst keeping the training available to all those who desire to learn, which is also appreciative of the huge amounts of time and energy that goes into each 2 day training weekend.

Level I = £75 per day = £150 total course cost - including detailed 50+ page training manual, personalised signed colour certificate (examples seen above), reusable storage case for your notes, and regular free backup and support as well as invitations to each further Reiki evening. The course is run over two days, either consecutive training days, or up to one week between training days.

Level II = £75 per day = £150 total course cost - including full training manual with symbols and hand placements, personalised signed colour certificate and qualification enabling you to set up an accredited practice, as well as free backup and support, invitations to Reiki sharing evenings, and invitations if suitable to attend many of our shows and events as a paid practitioner, as well as the chance to become a registered therapist with The Therapy Agency.

Level III = Price on Application - Full training, sharing full information over a period of months, not days.
Free invitation to all Reiki I & II weekends throughout the training process and after.
A commitment to a lifetime of backup support.
Full colour certificate and qualification allowing you to teach your own courses.
Digital versions and rights to reproduce Level I & II training manuals as desired, as well as all described in Levels I & II.

Scholarships may be available to exceptional individuals with financial difficulties, set prices however are arranged to allow training open to all, not just those with a high financial bank balance.

With each course students are asked to bring lunch to share (ie enough for one person, but in a way that can be shared), and I ask you to refrain from alcohol or other harmful substances in the days immediately surrounding the course dates.

Availability:

Training weekends are held regularly throughout the year for both Levels I and II, as well as on request for suitable numbers. Typically held in my own home, the course can also be brought to you, throughout the UK and beyond as required.
